Ilias kakos
Managing Director & Head of Investor Relations
Ilias Kakos is a 20 years financial services veteran with extensive experience covering institutional and government sectors in the GCC, focused primarily on Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Most recently, Ilias was Head of Institutional Sales and ADCB Asset Management in Abu Dhabi. His role encompassed developing the business in both the local and international markets, establishing product distribution in these markets, and growing an institutional client base for the firm's discretionary portfolio strategies.
Prior to joining ADCB Ilias spent several years at Bank Audi’s Audi Capital Asset Management where he was the Head of Institutional Sales, with responsibility for building the firm’s institutional client base across equity, fixed income and alternative asset portfolios.
Ilias has extensive experience in retail and HNW wealth management, having worked as a Private Banker at Credit Suisse for many years. He also headed Emirates Bank’s EIS Asset Management (Now EmiratesNBD Asset Management) Saudi Arabian Sales Team after working as a product development manager for the Middle Eastern products at Bloomberg LP - London.
